When was the last time you were rejected and how did you feel?
Rejection is a part of life. And to some exent, death. Being excluded. Not wanted. Left out. Turned away. Turned down. Turned off. It would be a rare person who has not received the proverbial "Dear John" letter. The one that tells you that "I have found true love and it isin't you' or that you were unsuccessful in your job application. And every time it happens you feel the pain and hurt. But, as Helen Harman, author if Finding Lurve in the Modern World, succinctly explains, once you understand it, confront it and in the end overcome it, rejection can also have a positive aspect. So the next time rejection raises its ugly head it will be something that is not only constructive but will help you move forward. The first step is not to reject this book. However if you do decide not to purchase it, you need to ask yourself the question: what's stopping you? That's lesson number one.
